Directed by Randy Smith, the ballet tells the story of the Osage native tribe from its Missouri days, to Kansas and finally the Oklahoma Osage Hills, and is a tale of tragedy, triumph and hope.
Osage composer Lou Brock and I have each composed musical themes for various scenes of the ballet, and I have arranged and orchestrated the music for the production.
The ballet was performed at the Smithsonian National Museum for the American Indian in Washington, D.C. on March 20-23, 2013.
